Liquid zeolite side effect questions are commonly brought up by customers before purchasing zeolite products, whether that is liquid zeolite or zeolite powder. Although, zeolite is on FDA's GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) list there are some precautions that you should take and some possible side effects you should be aware of. In the thousands of bottles of zeolite we have sold over the last several years, we have never once received a complaint beyond fatigue, slight headache and other very minor side effects.

Like with any detox protocol, and zeolite is a very powerful detoxifier - there are "detox symptoms". On one hand you may feel crummy but on the other you know your body is highly toxic and is cleansing. As toxins and impurities are being purged from the body, a lot of biochemical changes are occurring. Any type of cleansing can often be an unpleasant experience, but these side effects can be negated or reduced by following a few simple steps.

First, let's some of these people side effects:

Dehydration: This is the most common result of taking zeolite. Along with chelating heavy metals and toxins, zeolite pulls water from the body. This is why replenishing with extra water (8-10 glasses) or more if desired is recommended. Most issues associated with zeolite stem from dehydration!

Fatigue: Some may experience general fatigue; like something you might feel after a long day of work. Or you might think you are coming down with a cold. Just be safe, get plenty of water and increase water intake.

Aching: Muscles and organs may begin to ache, this is most likely associated with lack of water.

Constipation and diarrhea: Also, most likely contributed to dehydration but also can be the body's response to eliminating toxins.

Our biggest recommendation is to increase water intake and to lower your dosage. Like with any supplement, it is essential to begin slow and gradually increase your dosage.
