Ellagic Acid is an antioxidant (phenol) found in many vegetables and fruits. Berries such as blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, are especially high in these phenols. In vitro and small-animal model experiments have shown that ellagic acid has anti-proliferative and antioxidant properties.
